Rick Rabune
Vice President of Development
Rick is a native of La Palma, California and a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Management. Rick began his career with IMIC Hotels as a hotel manager trainee and worked within all departments at various IMIC properties. In 1997, Rick joined IMIC’s Design and Development team where he was Assistant Project Manager working on several of IMIC Hotels’ new developments. Rick was promoted in 1999 to Project Manager and Director of Construction. His responsibilities include working with architects, engineers, construction companies and designers on the design and construction of all new projects. In addition, he is the budgeting and purchasing liaison on all new construction and renovations or improvements; and project cost analysis. He also serves as the facilitator of all scheduling/coordination of for all of IMIC Hotels’ property improvements and renovations. In addition to new construction and facilitating all improvements and renovations, Rick also serves as asset manager for IMIC Hotels and leads the preventive maintenance program of facilities and equipment. Rick understands the vital role of not only caring about the quality of new construction but also the importance of caring for the product well after the doors open.
