Kathy Rabune

Vice President of Marketing

Kathy is a native of Columbia, South Carolina and a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in marketing and management plus a double major in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism. Kathy began her career in 1986 with IMIC Hotels and the hospitality industry working at one of IMIC Hotels’ full-service properties and in the corporate office. Kathy quickly advanced to Sales Manager of a full-service hotel and then to Corporate Sales Director for IMIC Hotels. In February 2005, she was named Vice President of Marketing. In this position, Kathy is also Vice President of Hospitality Advertising; IMIC Hotels’ in-house advertising agency. In addition, she is responsible for the Tour and Travel/ Motorcoach market. Daily activities include sales to the Regional Corporate Market, the Athletic market, the Government market and inter-hotel cross-selling programs. Additional responsibilities include Corporate Recruitment, attending National Association trade shows, and organization of sales blitzes. Kathy’s detail-oriented nature and capacity for follow-up ensure outstanding customer satisfaction and retention.
