Employee Milestones

IMIC Hotels is proud to congratulate Teri Britt on her 25th anniversary with the company!

Teri is a seasoned general manager with hospitality skills, leadership skills and people skills to match.  She started with IMIC in 1996 as a GSR at Pawley’s/Litchfield Hampton Inn, quickly moving to guest service manager, then to General Manager and in 2013, transferred to Georgetown Hampton Inn as their General Manager.

The Georgetown Marina Hampton Inn will turn 25 years old in May 2022 and in 2021 Teri lead the hotel and team to its best room revenue year in its history.  

Teri’s average team member tenure is over 10 years, with several team members that have been with the hotel for over 20 years. Her service, quality and overall experience scores are all well-above the Hampton brand average and she is currently ranked #1 in her STR competitive comp set (consecutively every month for at least the last 15+ years).   

When Teri is not working, you can find her as a patron in many of the businesses in Georgetown (a community where she was born and raised——with deep roots all over town).  She volunteers additional time with organizations such as Georgetown Tax advisory committee as well as many others.

Teri’s primary focus is being a proud mother of a grown son, Jeremey and devoted wife to her husband, Brian.

Jana Medlin & Delphine Holden

2022 South Carolina Restaurant Lodging Association General Manager and Night Auditor of the Year

The SCRLA held its annual award dinner in February and both Delphine and Jana were both nominated among a very highly talented and large group of hospitality professionals spread across South Carolina. We are proud to announce that Delphine and Jana won their respective awards for their 2022 SCRLA categories! Delphine Holden is the 2022 winner for SCRLA Lodging Front of the House Employee of the Year. Jana Medlin is the 2022 winner for SCRLA Hotel Lodging Manager of the Year. Thank you Delphine and Jana for being excellent role models for all hospitality professionals and for calling IMIC home. We are proud of your award and appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to our industry and our properties!
